Atlanta

I apologize for the lack of posts. It seems like I've been constantly on the move lately. Anyways, over spring break (which was a while ago) I went to Atlanta and did some inter-city work with a group of people my age. It was an amazing experience and I had some amazing conversations with individuals who lived on the streets of downtown Atlanta. Their stories are some I wish I could tell better through photographs, but didn't really have the chance to do. Here are some shots from that week.

Did a lot of this:

This is Stan. He flagged a few of us down and told us his story. It was like many of the other stories we heard that week. He said he had just gotten out of the hospital and was in the process of trying to find a job and a place to stay.

The size of Atlanta's homeless population was unbelievable and we learned it's crack addiction went hand in hand with it.

I think the rain finally figured out we weren't in Seattle anymore, so it needed to catch up with us.
